1. The service
Evelyn Tutor provides AI-powered tutoring: live tutoring sessions with AI teachers, plus lessons, practice questions, quizzes, notes, and progress tracking. By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts & eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create an account. The account holder is the parent or guardian of the household: you create learner profiles for the people who learn with Evelyn Tutor — including children of any age — and you are responsible for activity on the account. Children never create accounts, supply an email address, or see billing. For a learner profile of a child under 13, we require a paid plan: the card on file is how we obtain verifiable parental consent. Keep your sign-in credentials private.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing page and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your card details. If a price you locked in (such as a founding price) is guaranteed, it stays yours for as long as your subscription remains active. 4. Acceptable use
Use Evelyn Tutor for your own learning. Don’t share accounts, scrape or bulk-download content, attempt to disrupt the service, use it to complete graded work in violation of your school’s academic-integrity rules, or abuse the tutors or other people. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. Content & intellectual property
All instructional content on Evelyn Tutor is original and owned by us or our licensors; it’s for your personal, non-commercial use.
6. AI limitations & no guarantees
Our tutors are AI. They are built to teach carefully, but like any AI they can occasionally be wrong. Evelyn Tutor is a study tool, not a guarantee of any grade, score, qualification, or outcome. The service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
7. Termination & changes
You can delete your account at any time from account settings. We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
