Fair-use policy

Live tutoring is metered; everything else is not.

Live voice sessions are what cost us money, so those are the minutes we count. Session notes, transcripts, whiteboard replays, practice sets and your progress dashboard are never metered on any plan, including the free one.

Monthly allowances

• Free — 30 minutes a month, on any topic, with no content wall. It refreshes every month.
• Learner ($29/month) — about 15 hours of live tutoring.
• Unlimited ($59/month) — about 40 hours of live tutoring.
• Family ($79/month) — about 60 hours of live tutoring, pooled across up to 5 learners.

Family minutes are pooled.

On the Family plan the monthly minutes are shared across the household rather than split per learner — which is how families actually think about a shared plan, and means a learner deep in exam season can use more than their sibling that month. It also means one learner can use most of the month’s minutes; if that becomes a problem for your household, email us and we will help.

What happens at the limit.

We let you know as you approach the month’s minutes. If you reach the full allowance, live sessions pause until the allowance refreshes — everything else keeps working, and nothing you have already made is locked away.
